According to Gartner’s Forecast Overview, companies spent $110.3 billion in 2012 on cloud services and the number is expected to grow through 2016. “End-user spending on public cloud services is expected to grow 18.6% in 2012 to $110.3 billion and is expected to record a compound annual growth rate of 17.7 percent from 2011 through 2016,” the report says.
