Padmashri & Dr. B.C. Roy National Awardee, Dr. K K Aggarwal, President, Heart Care Foundation of India and Perfect Health Mela said that breast cancer is number one cancer in the urban cities and is related to faulty lifestyle.

MTNL PERFECT Health Mela will devote one full day for being breast aware on Monday, October 17. The risk factors of breast cancer in women, prostate cancer in men and heart attack in both are common. A special function will be organized at Ansal Plaza in association with International Oncology Group, which will have a cancer and heart attack detection camp followed by a lively cultural function at the Ansal Plaza Premises. There will also be a special talk on cancer prevention. The cultural programme will include a drum jam by Roberto Narain from Bangalore in the form of an interactive audience participation.

Dr. Aggarwal said that MTNL Perfect Health Mela is being organized by Heart Care Foundation of India and World Fellowship of Religions jointly with Health Department, Government of Delhi, MCD and NDMC from October 14 to 23, 2011.
