According to a TV channel, Pune Warriors India spinner Rahul Sharma said that though he was present at the hotel which was raided, he was there only to attend a birthday party.

The cops raided the Oakwood hotel at around 8:30 pm and 100 people, mostly foreign national were taken to the Cooper hotel where they gave their their blood and urine samples which would determine the kind of drugs which were being consumed.

The police also recovered several drugs from the spot.

“Approximately 110 grams of cocaine along with MDMA, Ecstasy and charas were seized,” Additional Commissioner of Police Vishwas Nagre Patil said on the raid conducted at Hotel Oakwoods in Juhu.

He said 58 boys and 38 girls were taken to Cooper hospital for a blood and urine test.

A case will be registered against those who test positive, he said.
