- It helps in digestion and hence better bowel movement.
- Helps prevent premature greying of hair.
- At the time of pregnancy, when one suffers from severe nausea, mixing one teaspoon of juice extract with one teaspoon of honey and half a teaspoon of limejuice helps controlling the feeling of nausea
- A paste of these leaves can be applied as a poultice on burns and bruises.
