Even Salman Khan confessed that he saw Priyank Sharma as one of the finalists of Bigg Boss 11, but then the universe clearly had something else in store for him as he was shown the exit door of the Bigg Boss house right at the end of the first week. It so happened that Priyank went on to break the most important rule of the house as he physically attacked his co-contestant, Akash Dadlani. And so it was, the makers and Salman had to take a strict action against him for they decided to expel from the show.

While many want him to get a second chance and re-enter the house, Priyank’s girlfriend, Divya Agarwal doesn’t want him to go back to the show. In an EXCLUSIVE conversation with BollywoodLife, Divya gives her take on Priyank’s short stint on Bigg Boss 11.

For those of you who don’t know, Priyank and Divya took part in the ongoing season of MTV Splitsvilla and it is from there that their love story began. “We genuinely got connected. And there were many reasons for us being together. Our likes, dislikes, the way he lives, and despite being in this industry, we still have that little orthodox mentality about a few things and society. So all of this actually connected us really well. It’s not that we didn’t have hardships on the show. There were times when we wanted to be together, but we couldn’t. But now when I see the episodes, I realise that whatever happened on the show, it somewhere gave us a lot of attention commercially. But then that time when we were going through that phase, it was difficult,” says Divya as she talks about her relationship with Priyank. Although Priyank was there inside the Bigg Boss house for not more than five days, but his bae is proud that he came out with his dignity intact. She says, “I would say that it was a very short and sweet journey that he had. I am really proud that he came out with respect. Now that I have been a part of one reality show, and he was on his third one, so I can understand what situations you face, be it inside the house or be it inside a villa. In Splitsvilla also, I had a phase when I was triggered so badly that it made me show that side of me which I never wanted to. As a person, everybody has his negatives and positives. But I am glad that his negative side was very much genuine and valid.”

In fact, she reveals that she would have reacted more strongly if she was in Priyank’s place. “When I got to know about his eviction from Bigg Boss 11, I was just hoping that the reason should be ethical, and I felt good that he supported his brother. If I was in his place, I would have reacted much more worse. Since Priyank has a very subtle personality, the reaction was extreme for him because I have never seen him like that ever,” adds Divya.

Ask her if the makers and Salman’s decision was fair and she says, “Salman Khan’s point of view was justified, again what Priyank did was also right. So I think they both are right. I totally respect their perspectives and actions.”

Divya, who is currently in Delhi has not been able to meet her significant other, who is extremely busy giving numerous media interviews in Mumbai. But obviously they have been talking to each other on the phone almost every hour. “He was obviously not very happy. But then he is quite overwhelmed with the massive support that he is getting,” says Divya, who doesn’t want Priyank to go back on the show as she adds, “Initially when he told me that he has been offered to be on the show, I was the one, who encouraged him a lot. But right now looking at the situation inside the house, I don’t think Priyank is made to be in that mess. He is a very simple person, and it’s not that he can’t deal with negativity, but things inside the Bigg Boss house are evil.”
