Amon, a private detective specializing in affair investigations, is asked by a man named Koga to investigate the conduct of his wife, Misako, who is a housekeeper. It turns out that Misako is addicted to an affair with her employer, Kiriyama. Amon reports this to Koga, but in fact, Misako's affair was arranged by Koga to promote her divorce. Before long, the incident takes an unexpected turn...
