(1969)Overview
Mr. Jourdain, oblivious to his own ignorance, embarks on a comical journey to transform himself into a nobleman, taking lessons from music, dance, fencing, and philosophy teachers who exploit his naivety for profit. His daughter Lucille’s potential marriage to a nobleman is threatened by an envoy from the Turkish sultan’s son, who seeks her hand. To secure the alliance, the envoy elevates Mr. Jourdain to the rank of Turkish voivode, resolving the dilemma and setting the stage for a humorous conclusion.
