(1987)Overview
When Laxmi loses her third child in childbirth, her husband takes a second wife in order to ensure the birth of a son to carry on his name. Shortly after his 2nd marriage, both his wives give birth to boys. Laxmi's son, however, mysteriously disappears. Years later, a young man appears claiming to be the missing son of Laxmi, and attempts to bring some sense and honor for poor Laxmi.
