In 2015, the actress was in the limelight for tweeting explicit things about Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi. Though later on, she revealed that she made a huge mistake. In Rajeev Khandelwal’s show JuzzBaat, Arshi participated with her best friend Rakhi Sawant, where she said,  “I respect Mr Afridi a lot. He has done a lot for me. That tweet was a mistake and I should not have addressed him openly about such sensitive issues. Afridi Sahaab ke bahut ehsaan hai mujh par.”
