Biography: Graduated from Waseda University's School of Political Science and Economics. He joined Koji Wakamatsu's production team with Ready to Shoot (1990) and made his directorial debut with Crazy Cop: No Investigation! (1995). The following year, he expanded his career as a producer, contributing to numerous distinctive works and continuing to create edgy, impactful films.
