Biography:
Santiago Eduardo Urueta Sierra Rodríguez (Mineral de Cusihuiriachi, Chihuahua, Mexico, February 24, 1895-Mexico City, March 23, 1979), better known as Chano Urueta, was a film director, actor and writer who stood out since the first half of the 1930s as one of the most gifted adapters of great works of universal literature.
