Biography: Simon Spencer (born 26 June 1959 in Clacton-on-Sea) was the producer and showrunner for Thomas & Friends from 2003 until 2008. He replaced Phil Fehrle when HiT Entertainment began producing the show. He also wrote six episodes for the show and served as a creative producer for The Birthday Express.
