Raised between Morehead City, Washington, and Raleigh, he developed an early interest in performance, radio, and sports media. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, including a tour in West Germany, Doyle returned to North Carolina and later attended East Carolina University, where he worked in sports broadcasting and video production.
