Jordi Penner
Biography:
Jordi Penner (Riva del Garda, 1987) is an Italian filmmaker, actor, and educator. He studied at the universities of Bologna, Amsterdam and California, earning a Master's degree with honors in Film Studies. His debut short 'Amore Cane' (Love is a Dog, 2020) screened at over 20 festivals, including Oscar-qualifying In the Palace Film Festival. 'Pietre Sommerse' (Sunken Stones, 2023) won national awards and was selected at HollyShorts in L.A. In 2024, he wrote NËNA, winner of SIAE’s 'Per Chi Crea' financed by MIC (Italian Ministry of Culture).
