Biography: Vyacheslav Turyanytsya is a Ukrainian filmmaker, currently pursuing a PhD in Film studies. During the onset of the fullscale invasion of Ukraine, he made his student short film, Kharkiv Music Fest Did Happen, in 2022 (Special Mention in Directing at the Early Bird Int. Student FF). His next short, Thoughts on Peace in an Air Raid, premiered at IFFR 2025.
