Biography: Malaya Valenzuela was born in Chicago and raised in Kalihi, Hawaii. She started in theatre and local commercials at a young age. Malaya attended Hawaiian immersion school until she was fourteen and speaks the language fluently. She has a background in martial arts and gymnastics. After graduating she did post-secondary theatre programs in Seattle and Vancouver, Canada.
