Biography: Yorgos Mavropsaridis, born November 21, 1954, in Athens, Greece, is a Greek film editor known for his collaboration with director Yorgos Lanthimos. A London Film School graduate, he began editing commercials, where he met Lanthimos at a Greek advertising agency. Mavropsaridis has edited all of Lanthimos’ films, including Dogtooth (2009), The Lobster (2015), The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017), The Favourite (2018), and Poor Things (2023). His minimal-cut editing style enhances narrative flow.
