Biography:
Nino "Nutsa" Gogoberidze was a pioneering Georgian film director. She was an associate of Sergei Eisenstein and Alexander Dovzhenko. Her 1934 film Uzhmuri was the first Georgian feature film in the Soviet Union directed by a woman.
