Biography:
Jacques Lalande, born Jacques Gross on October 5, 1927 in Paris, was a French actor whose career spanned nearly forty years. Trained in theatre, he quickly became a familiar face in both film and television, where he portrayed a wide range of subtle and finely crafted supporting roles. He appeared in notable films of the 1960s such as La Belle vie, Is Paris Burning? and Ho!, though it was on television that he established himself most enduringly.
