Biography: Shizue Hyōdō (March 4, 1912 – February 9, 1934) was a Japanese actress. She joined Shochiku Studios in 1928 at the age of sixteen. She appeared in supporting roles in films such as Heinosuke Gosho's "The Father and His Son" and "The Dancing Girl of Izu" and a now-lost silent film by Mikio Naruse. In 1933, she fell ill of peritonitis and a severe thiamine deficiency, and she passed away the following year at the age of twenty-one.
