Biography: Alfred Kleinheinz (born June 2, 1950, in Innsbruck; died July 20, 2018) was an Austrian actor. From 1993 onwards, he was a permanent ensemble member at the Residenztheater Munich. Alfred Kleinheinz initially worked as a plasterer. At the age of 24, he began performing in amateur theater alongside his professional work. In 1988, he accompanied a colleague to an audition in Vienna—an audition for which he himself was ultimately selected. In 1989, he made his professional debut at the Niedersächsisches Staatstheater Hannover under the direction of Thomas Reichert, playing the role of the teacher Medvedenko in Anton Chekhov’s drama *The Seagull*.
