He is widely recognised for his pivotal role as the key second assistant director on Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi (2017). In addition to his behind-the-scenes contributions, Sharp made a brief on-screen appearance in the same film, portraying Resistance Trench Sergeant 'Salty.' Throughout his career, Sharp has collaborated on a diverse array of films across various genres.
