Biography: Police officer, body builder, and occasional actor John P. Codiglia was born on June 20, 1946. Codiglia began his career in law enforcement as a patrolman before eventually achieving the rank of sergeant at Manhattan's 17th Precinct and subsequently going on to become a deputy inspector for the New York Police Department. On November 8, 1982 John won a Patrolman's Benevolent Association bodybuilding contest and was named Mr. New York's Finest.
