Kevin Papatie
Biography:
Kevin Papatie is originally from Kitcisakik, an Algonquin community located in the Abitibi region of Quebec (Canada). One of the first participants in the Wapikoni mobile project, he has proven himself as a participant, director, cameraman, soundman, musician and coordinator. He has directed about ten ± short films under the project. His film Wabak-Future (2006) won the Best Experimental Film at the Winnipeg Aboriginal Film Festival 2007 and the price of young hopeful "Mainfilm" at LandINSight film Festival of 2007.
