Biography: Karl Johan Siward Mjällby, born 9 February 1971 in Järfälla, is a Swedish former football player, defender and midfielder, and later also a football coach. Mjällby's surname comes from the fact that his grandfather, John Sivert Pettersson, took the name after Mjällby when he moved to Stockholm, as his family came from the town.
