Paulina Porizkova (born Pavlína Pořízková) is a Czechoslovak-born supermodel, actress, and author who rose to global fame in the 1980s. Often cited as one of the most successful models of her era, she became the first Central European woman to appear on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 1984.
